The role: TheITSystems Managerpresides over the systems and infrastructure of theSchool,monitoring,managingand developingthemto ensure thatweprovide a reliable service that meets the needs of all our users.Itsa varied role, reporting to the Director of IT andassisted by an IT helpdesk team, that includes oversight of thefibrenetwork and associatedadd-ons,maintainingthe IT servers,administering onsite directories and databases, managing license agreements, third party suppliersand asset registerswhilstsupportingtwo direct reports.You will alsohave the opportunity toproject-manage new school implementations.We would require the IT Systems Manager to live within a 30-minute journey time to the School and in the alternative, accommodation may be offered subject to availability of appropriate property. There are over 1,500PCsand mobile computers, spread over60 buildings.
