About the Role
The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in expanding our
client base by introducing our services to new businesses. You will be responsible
for identifying, nurturing, and securing new business opportunities through:
• Leveraging our CRM and nurturing leads
• Generating new business through networking, events, and social media
platforms, such as LinkedIn
• Managing inbound marketing leads and inquiries
• Managing the database
As a Business Development Representative, you will guide prospective clients
through the sales process, demonstrating our value proposition and ensuring
successful product or service installations. This role comes with uncapped
commission, a car allowance, and a company car scheme available after the
probation period. Bonus structures reward target achievement and overachievement.
Key Tasks / Outcomes
- Book and conduct 6-8 visits per week to potential clients with a company size
of 50-500 employees, via the database and marketing enquiries.
- Continuously update and enhance the database to ensure a consistent
pipeline of prospective customers.
- Secure 2-4 new contracts per month.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting:
• Proactively call and qualify leads from a new database.
• Track customer progress and identify contract renewal timelines.
• Book appointments with potential clients to secure new supply contracts.
Sales:
• Close sales with clients by demonstrating the benefits of long-term vending
machine contracts.
• Manage and maintain client relationships to ensure long-term success.
Efficiency:
• Demonstrate significant output with minimal wasted effort.
• Organize and plan schedules, appointments, and budgets efficiently and
productively.
Adaptability & Problem Solving:
• Remain adaptable to changing business priorities and customer needs.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills by processing qualitative and quantitative
data and drawing actionable insights.
Persistence:
• Show persistence and willingness to go the extra mile to meet and exceed
sales targets.
• Be proactive and take initiative in bringing new ideas and solutions to the
company.

Requirements
• Undergraduate Degree (minimum 2:1 classification)
• Proven success in a New Business sales role
• Experience selling solution-based products in a B2B environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK Driving License
• Successful completion of a CRB check
• Minimum of 2 references
• IT proficiency, with a willingness to adopt new technologies
• Bonus: Experience in the vending, coffee, or facilities industries is advantageous
