Job summary Deputy Theatre Manager, Rugby St Cross Theatres. An exciting opportunity to join our Senior Team as Deputy Theatre Manager at Rugby St Cross Theatres. The primary focus of the role is to ensure that the Trust provides high quality Patient centred care in Theatres and requires a high profile, accessible and responsive leader. The Practitioner will act as an advocate for Patients and provide Clinical Leadership for our Surgical Specialities at Rugby St Cross Hospital. This includes Trauma and Orthopaedics, Neuro, Ophthalmic, General, Plastics, Pain and Vascular. The practitioner must be experienced, highly motivated, with a passion for always driving the Service forward. Have proven leadership skills and be able to deliver Patient focused evidence-based practice. The Practitioner will support the Theatre Manager in providing Clinical Operational Leadership and will Deputise for Theatre Manager when on Leave. A focus of the role will be on Quality and Safety and ensuring highest Standards and adherence to policies, procedures and best practice are maintained. The practitioner will be responsible for their own professional conduct in line with NMC/HCPC Code of Conduct and will adhere to and understand all Trust & local policies and procedures. They must be able to make informed decisions within their own area and scope of professional practice.
