Customer Team Leader
Location: 71 Henleaze Road, Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4JT
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (from 5:30am), afternoons, late evenings (until 10pm) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Role will also include working in our in-store bakery.
You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you'll need to authorise age-related sales.
We're looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.
As a Customer Team Leader, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to help lead the store team - coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
What you'll do
1. Provide friendly, welcoming service every day, often managing the store and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued.
3. Ensure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
5. Support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering various HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, working closely with your team to implement change.
7. Build relationships and engage with your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
