Safeguarding Clerical Officer - Child Vulnerability and Exploitation Team (CVET)
Kirklees District
Location: Dewsbury
One part time permanent post of 18.5 hours. (Job share)
Salary: £24,921.00 - £27,351.00 per annum (pro rata)
Applications are invited for the role of Safeguarding Clerical Officer to work within the Child Vulnerability and Exploitation Team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a committed team of police officers who oversee the management and safeguarding of young people who are vulnerable to CSE and CCE.
An integral part of the role will be liaising with Social Care and other involved agencies to ensure information is appropriately shared via typed reports, phone calls and face to face interaction.
You will be expected to research the police systems in order to gather relevant information and present it clearly. You will also be asked to type up intelligence reports and record crime occurrences.
The successful candidate will be motivated, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
