Job summary
We are looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join our team on Ward 27 to assist Registered Nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team in implementing patients' care plan.
The role will also require the successful individual to undertake some clerical and domestic duties to ensure a safe environment.
Main duties of the job
1. Provides personal care to patients Bathing, toileting, feeding and care of the dying.
2. Works in accordance to Trust policies and procedures.
3. Demonstrates own duties to new starters and others as appropriate.
4. Observes patients and reports any changes to a Registered Nurse.
5. Perform basic observation process by using automated device for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory.
6. Take basic patient measurements eg height and weight.
