Kenna Recruitment have a brand new exciting opportunity for a Senior Document Controller with 4P experience to join one of the UK's Leading Developers based both on Site and Head Office in West London.
You will be the Sole Document Controller within the business, being the first point of contact for all queries and issues on 4P, working very closely with the Technical and Project team from the start of this project to the end with a huge workload of projects upcoming in the next year.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create an effective system within the project EDMS for coordinating and tracking the design information.
2. Coordinate technical drawings, distribute to contractors and consultants, track document status, and chase consultants to close out design periods.
3. Quality check published documentation on the EDMS checking revisions, references, and titles.
4. Respond to EDMS queries from internal and external stakeholders.
5. Regularly report on document status issues, delays on drawings, technical subs and RFIs highlighting concerns and potential delays.
6. Be the 4Projects subject expert, training colleagues and implementing clear protocols & procedures for both internal and external colleagues.
7. Manage the 4Projects information requests, and track progress to completion.
8. Maintain DCN, consultant appointments, insurance CCOP, and handover trackers.
9. Effectively administer and manage the document control system including uploading and downloading drawings, distributing controlled copies of information, scanning and uploading received hard copy documents, maintaining up-to-date drawing files and registers and collating and issuing of drawings and tender packages.
10. Produce reports for the Technical team detailing the time being taken to respond to queries and RFIs.
11. Work closely with external consultants to achieve our standards, and confidently request changes be made if such standards are not met.
12. Manage the O&M process providing documents for the client / Estate Management Team and working closely with an appointed O&M provider to coordinate the handover of deliverables.
13. Manage NCRs raised by the construction team, coordinating a response with the trade contractor and closing out.
14. General administrative duties if and when needed.
Experience/Knowledge:
1. Good practical experience and application of ISO19650 and PAS 8672.
2. Good level of 4Projects admin/user experience.
3. Experience in implementing at either project, region or group-level Information Management Strategies.
