Reporting directly to the Group Director of FP&A, the ideal candidate for this position should be highly motivated and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment where finance reporting to diverse stakeholders is a constant demand.
As a FP&A manager, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support to key business leaders and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for Management Information, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience within a dynamic, acquisitive business is essential, along with robust reporting and analytical capabilities. The ability to effectively engage with existing and prospective debt and equity stakeholders, drive enhancements in Group reporting, and offer valuable insights into financial performance are crucial.

Responsibilities:
The FP&A Manager oversees the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis processes. This involves the delivery of the following:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
* Annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-term plans.
* Work with the Divisions heads to lead the Finance planning process, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting process, and long-term plans.
* Co-ordinate and liaise with the Divisional Heads of Finance (UK and Europe) to gather forecasting data and reporting and discuss any business led KPIs.
* Prepare Group budget and forecasting data including presentations for stakeholders with insight and commentary.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
* Monthly and quarterly management information (MI), strategic report within the annual reports and accounts, acquisition related reporting and deliverables, expense allocation reporting.
* Responsible for the Group management reporting pack, including all data input, accuracy and overlaying recent acquisitions along with liaising with various finance areas to receive timely information, and work to a strict working day timetable to deliver income, P&L and full Management pack reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop and innovate the group management reporting pack driving continuous improvement as required by stakeholders.
* Analyse and provide insight into financial performance across the group on key P&L, balance sheet and cash flow movements.
* Aid the integration of new acquisitions into the Group reporting pack including prior year insight (LTM adjustments), aligning revenue recognition and consistent reporting.
* Drive high level Group Financial KPI analysis to aid insight into performance. Build out central MI capability.
* Work with the expenses team on expense reporting, benchmarking and exceptional cost analysis for the Group.
External Reporting:
* Reports required by the PIB Board, Investor Relations reporting, Press Releases [Trading updates], data analysis required by external consultants.
Ad-hoc Requests:
* Ad-hoc requests for reporting from external third-parties and owners’ of PIB Group.
* Management of the OneStream reporting [MI, Statutory, Treasury, Non-Financial KPIs] to ensure system provides adequate reports for data analysis.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for successfully collaborating with departments across the Group to deliver the above key responsibilities.
Experience:
* Professional qualifications in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW etc.)
* 5+ years of FP&A experience with 2+ years in a manager role.
* Financial analysis, accounting, or a related field, preferably in the insurance broking industry.
* Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling and use of financial systems such as OneStream and NetSuite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
* Detail-oriented and highly organised.
