In line with our Care Act (2014) duties, we’re committed to Making Safeguarding Personal and ensuring access to advocacy services. * Leading the team to deliver excellent safeguarding interventions.
* Taking responsibility for key decision-making, including agreeing outcomes for escalations and complaints.
* Engaging in strategic planning to maintain a high standard of service and continuously improve in a changing environment.
* Managing complex multi-agency work, negotiating with partner agencies using robust legal knowledge.
What we’re looking for:
* Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
* Extensive experience managing complex cases, supervising others and acting as a senior decision maker.
* Leadership skills to influence, motivate and manage others.
* Strong knowledge of local and national safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills.
* Great organisational skills and resilience in adapting to changing priorities.
