The Programme Producer will lead the development and delivery of an innovative, high quality, creative programme of classes, courses, and workshops, and supervision of socially engaged projects.
Forgan Arts Centre is recruiting a Programme Producer: Learning & Engagement to develop our creative programme as we implement our new business plan, An Arts Centre as a Garden.
The Programme Producer: Learning & Engagement is a new position. Their role is to lead on the development and delivery of an innovative creative programme of classes, courses, and workshops, and to support our community engagement projects.
This role is suitable for someone with a strong knowledge of contemporary arts practices, creative learning, and community engagement. This is a hands-on position which requires someone with excellent administrative, organisational, and communication skills, good financial acumen, patience, and diplomacy.
Key Details
Status: This is an employed position.
Salary: £29,130 per year.
Hours: This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week excluding a 30-minute lunch break daily. It is anticipated this role will be 5 days per week. This role will include occasional evening and weekend work.
Period: This is a permanent position.
Location: Due to the place-based nature of Forgan Arts Centre’s programmes we anticipate most hours to be spent at the centre.
Annual leave: We provide 7 weeks of annual leave per year which equates to 35 days including public holidays.
Pension: Employer contributions of 3%.
Benefits: There are opportunities for continuing professional development and training and an annual salary increase of 2%.
