The Maternity, Breast & Gynaecology Division is seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to work alongside our Clinical Lead and Lead Nurse within the Gynaecology Clinical Business Unit (CBU).
This exciting opportunity involves leading the day-to-day management of Gynaecology services, with a focus on ensuring smooth patient pathways for cancer, elective and emergency care. You will be one of three Service Managers working closely with the Divisional General Manager, with leadership responsibilities across your dedicated CBU. Each CBU has its own administrative team, reporting to the Service Manager, to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
In this role, you will oversee the O& G Medical rotas, ensuring effective coordination through Rota Co-ordinators across our hospital sites. You will also support the emergency and elective patient flow at our dedicated Gynaecology SDEC and Women's Health Ward at Peterborough City Hospital.

You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Gynaecology services, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care processes and service delivery across multiple sites.
Main duties of the job
* Operational management and delivery of responsive, high-quality services across Peterborough City Hospital, Stamford Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital
* Leadership and line management of the Gynaecology Administration Team
* Overseeing rota coordination across Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Teams
* Collaborating with the CBU triumvirate, senior nursing teams, medical staff and corporate directorates to ensure the delivery of national and local performance objectives
