Are you an experienced Site Trainer within a Warehouse environment looking for a new challenge? The role of the Site Trainer is to support the training Manager with Site Inductions and Site training requirements. The Job will include training for (but not limited too): MHE, Power Tools, Hand Tools, Crane, EHS and any other requirements that supports the Operation. The role will include ensuring the Site is Legal and Compliant across all areas of Training (Excluding WMS). This role is a set shift of 2pm-10pm Key responsibilities:- Site Inductions and onboarding for New Employees Site induction for visitors and contractors On Site Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) training to RTITB/ITSAR standard MHE conversion (Upskilling) Observations and feedback (Safety Talks) Power and Hand tool training Training on and can train out: Crane, Dock Levellers, Barriers, Fire Panel, Sprinkler system, Fire tests, Racking Inspections, Beam replacement Tool Box Talks Proficient in Inbound and Outbound MHE processes All Site refresher training The development of training programmes across the site to ensure the workforce is “multiskilled” Data driven specific training The development of Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs) The support in writing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions Support in any site incidents or Investigations Site Safety Conversations Post induction MHE assessments, feedback and retraining Ensure the Company’s Health and Safety policies are adhered to and all operational legislative requirements are fulfilled Travel to other sites within the Maersk network to assist with MHE training (Travelling Costs / expenses will be paid) The reporting any incidents of non-conformance to the warehouse management team, and support in any remedial training Any other duties deemed necessary to fulfil the role Responsible for all site Training administration including the record keeping of: MHE training, refreshers, conversions, or any assessments required following an incident. All in line with GDPR Maintenance of training and skills matrix.
