Coronary Care Unit The successful candidate will work within a specialist Cardiology team delivering high quality care to a eight bedded Level 2 Unit. Being part of the CCU team involves in-depth knowledge and skills in this field and requires excellent communication with the Multidisciplinary Team. Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic qualified nurse to join the team of experienced nurses working in the Coronary Care Unit within the Directorate of Medicine/AE at Prince Charles Hospital.You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by nursing patients with acute Cardiology/Medical conditions. You will be supported during your orientation and development. Ongoing support will be provided through clinical supervision, team meetings and development days. You can expect to have regular appraisals and a personal development plan.The post is full time. The post is rotational between day and night duty.
