Retail discounts – Receive up to 30% off at Superdrug, exclusive discounts with three mobile along with many more… Job Description Your role as Assistant Management Accountant Production of the monthly accounts for the respective cost centres and balance sheet areas and highlighting where there are ares of concern Ensure all transactions are checked and highlighted for variances against budget Ensure that all journals are well documented and understood before posting Management of the respective balance sheet accounts and cost centres and identifying and correcting any anomalies in the accounts Working with the auditors and finance teams to ensure we are audit-compliant Identify areas of continual improvement, especially around process automation and reporting standardisation that can save time and improve awareness What You’ll Bring… Excellent planning and organisational keys Meticulous approach with an attention to detail Taking ownership of problems through to resolution Strong customer service ethos Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and customers Problem solving skills Qualifications Ability to understand basic/intermediate accounting principles Excel and IT literate Come from some accounting background either within a shared services function or a finance function Medium / Large company experience AAT Finalist / Trainee Accountant Strong maths and English grades
