Role Profile:
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Finance, Product and Brand Directors, the E-commerce & Digital Trading Director will own our revenue number, driving sales and profitability and optimising our site performance and conversion to support our ambitious growth plans in 2025 and beyond.
Your purpose is to own the numbers at the point of purchase for the website. You’ll obsess about increasing profitability, net revenues and average order value while driving traffic and conversion rate through a seamless customer journey.

Role Accountability:
1. You will be responsible for optimising revenue, profitability, and trading the website, maximising sales and achieving budget targets.
2. You will lead all key commercial functions across the business, including Ecommerce, Commercial Planning, and Performance Marketing.
3. You will lead any planned mission-critical projects relating to the website.
4. As we grow, you will own the localisation process for our international stores and domains, and plan & manage the relevant team's workflow within the business to achieve a world-class native experience.
5. You will own all visual merchandising of your stores from products to signposting and engaging content that makes a sale today, through successful collaboration with the internal production team and/or external agencies.
6. You will own the analytical and CRO tools that will help you unlock greater insight to build hypotheses to test and generate incremental output on your KPIs.
7. You will be the central contact for all internal and external stakeholders for all things Ecommerce & Performance Marketing, working to ensure availability, visibility, and distribution of products in line with forecast and to drive continual improvements in AOV and conversion.
8. You will make recommendations for system and platform enhancements where growth gaps or limitations are identified.
9. You will support the creation of ecommerce trading plans based on key events, themes, and seasons, including the creation and management of the promotional calendar.
10. Closely working with our Digital agencies, you will identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic to our websites as well as develop and improve traffic from existing channels.

13. Demonstrable track record leading a development team in a D2C ecommerce environment.
14. Previous experience with Shopify.
15. Speed - the ability to work at pace in an ever-changing environment.

17. Analytical thinker, with strong expertise in utilising qualitative and quantitative data to validate hypotheses that drive decisions and revenue.
18. Process-oriented, able to develop business models, and define operational requirements and processes.
19. Excellent communicator with a natural ability to convert complex processes into universally understandable ideas.
20. Able to work in situations with a high level of uncertainty and able to adapt to the environment and embrace change.
21. Experience in managing, directing, and motivating staff to deliver projects with stretching scope and objectives.
22. Strong commercial acumen, focusing on business and commercial outcomes rather than output or input.
