Experienced Paediatrics Staff Nurse Acute/High Dependency Unit

Main duties of the job
We provide a holistic suite of services for babies, children, and young people to enable them to receive the highest quality of care at the right time, delivered by the right staff and in the location where best suits their needs, in partnership with parents, carers, and other multi-disciplinary team members.
We are looking for exceptional, committed, caring, and compassionate Staff Nurses with post-registration experience to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team. Successful candidates will join our friendly, supportive teams led by Supervisory Senior Sisters / Service Managers / Team Leaders and be part of a nursing skill mix reflective of the acuity of the patient group.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is expected to provide relevant forms of care without direct supervision and participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff.
To play an active part in the continuing development of the ward or department and actively contribute to the maintenance of an environment conducive to the delivery of high standards of patient care by promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.

* Has had experience within an acute care setting
* Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of a number of IT packages such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering
* High Dependency Course
* BiPAP - Acute/LTV Experience/Competency
* Central Line Competency
