Pertemps are recruiting for a Service Manager / Logistics Manager to come in for a 6 month contract for a leading company based in Clevedon, BS21.This role will involve Managing the day to day running of the Service department. Providing technical support for battery Chargers & UPS Systems. As Service Manager you will report to the Sales and Service Senior Team Leader and will have relationships with all other departments.
* £50,000 Per Annum - (£26 per hour) based on a 38.5 hour week
* Monday – Friday
* Contract work - 6 month period
* Hybrid working optons
You are Responsible for Service Engineers and Service Administrators Based at the head office, this job may require occasional visits to customer sites.Key duties include:
* Ensure the efficient & effective operation of the Service Department, leading a team of field service engineers and administrators.
* To provide technical support to after-sales customers and service engineers which may include onsite work.
* To coordinate technical training to staff and customers as necessary.
* To provide technical assistance to sales enquiries/contracts.
* P&L responsibility for the service department.
* To seek out ways to grow revenue and profit of the service department.
* Ensure best use is made of inhouse labour for any site work
