Band 6 Practice Development Facilitator - Clinical Skills - up to 18.75 hours per week fixed term 6 months

Main duties of the job
The Practice Development Facilitator will co-ordinate the design and delivery of learning resources and training programmes for the Practice Development team, with a particular emphasis on clinical skills & workplace learning. They will support staff and managers to develop clinical skills and competencies in line with our workforce needs, enabling the introduction of new roles and ways of working, and in order to ensure that staff are able to deliver outstanding care to patients and maintain safe working practices.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject area e.g. Education, Healthcare or Social Science
* Professional Qualification and registration on the appropriate clinical register
* Recognised training or teaching qualification or equivalent experience
* Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent experience
* Coaching or mentoring qualification
* A1/D32 Assessor Qualifications
* V1/D33 Internal Quality Assurance Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
* Evidence of developing training packages (online and/or face to face)
* Experience of working with groups and individuals from all backgrounds, across all disciplines in a variety of roles and settings
* Experience of supporting learners and providing guidance to staff and managers regarding learning
* Knowledge of professional requirements related to supporting learners in practice e.g. from NMC and HCPC or other professional bodies
* Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating learning programmes for diverse staff groups
* Knowledge of City and Guilds Diploma in Health standards
* Knowledge of Registered Qualifications Framework and Awarding Body Centre requirements
* Knowledge of career pathways and training initiatives relevant to the health & social care sector
