We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Mitie Healthcare. This position will be based in the Midlands and primarily focus on delivering large-scale and complex capital and life cycle schemes within a healthcare PFI setting.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be crucial in overseeing and managing all aspects of the capital and lifecycle projects. You are responsible for ensuring their successful implementation within the given timeframe and budget constraints and upholding the highest compliance standards, including CDM, with all relevant regulations and standards.
Main Duties

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and track progress.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the projects, including regular communication and reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential project risks.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines.
What we are looking for
-• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale capital and lifecycle projects within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Sound understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines in a healthcare environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are highly desirable.
