Project Engineer | Space Science | Essex

As a project engineer, you will be pushing boundaries in the development of cutting-edge products for space sectors.
You will need to come from a multidisciplinary engineering background to be able to oversee a variety of engineering inputs to the projects providing technical direction to engineering projects on complex space systems. This could be suitable for someone who is an established Project Engineer, or someone who has a varied engineering background such as systems engineering, electronic engineering, or electrical engineering looking to move into a project-focused technical role.
Role / Responsibilities:
Deliver technical leadership and direction to the project team
Gather requirements and build detailed plans
Support throughout the project lifecycle with engineering governance and Engineering Management Plans
Identify risks and opportunities and manage them accordingly
Contribute to bidding activity
Configuration control – product and project
Skills / Experience:
Wide-ranging knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
Strong stakeholder management
Technical documentation experience
