Role: Project Director – Cambridge – Salary: £90,000 - £95,000.00 + Travel Allowance + Pension + Healthcare
Role/Responsibilities:
* Tender review and validation
* Design Review liaising with consultants, clients and main contractors
* Procurement of major plant and subcontractors
* Programming of works using MS Project / Asta
* Oversee all trade contractors
* Leading the project from a commercial aspect, overseeing profitability and reporting finically to contracts manager
* Management of commissioning stages and project handover to the client
* Health & Safety (RAMS)
* Commercial Responsibility (working alongside Quantity Surveyor)
* Team Coordination
* Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
* Progress meetings with sub-contractors and clients
* Experience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of a complete MEPH installation
The ideal candidate:
* Will be familiar working in a fast-paced environment
* Experience working in the Commercial New Build, Healthcare or Life Sciences sectors
* Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5M within your own discipline
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role
* Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted with Tier 1 main contractors
