Main duties of the job As a member of the TAP Practice Development Team (PDT) it will be desirable that you will have excellent clinical skills, recent experience and a sound knowledge of Anaesthetics, Recovery and Scrub. Candidates will require knowledge and recent clinical experience in at least 2 of these areas. The successful applicant will also demonstrate a proven record of clinical teaching in both informal and formal settings and will have well established assessment skills. The PDP role will support Nursing, ODP's, Apprentice Nurse Associates, as well as the supervision and support of new starters and students. In addition you will support the development of training programmes, post registration course students and our current theatre teams. This will be achieved through the facilitation of formal and informal learning and working with the multidisciplinary teams in clinical practice. You must have excellent organizational skills and be able to meet tight deadlines.
