Your new role
As the Manager, Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing, you will provide strategic and people leadership for headspace Horsham in this newly created role.
Managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, you will deliver an end-to-end client experience, recognising key stakeholders, managing risk, and understanding what success looks like for the client and the team around you.
Some of your key objectives include:
* Developing and implementing a vision and work plan for the team that aligns with the organisation's goals and meets program objectives.
* Ensuring our headspace model delivers an integrated service to young people, their family and friends.
* Engaging with relevant sectors and partners to deliver an integrated model of care, promoting multidisciplinary teamwork and participation in the headspace program at a local level.
* Providing leadership that builds on the participation of young people and their families in service development, delivery and evaluation.
* Promoting evidence-based clinical practice and leadership in the clinical decision-making processes regarding the care of young people attending the centre.
It's a full-time role, but we can consider part-time, 0.8-0.9 FTE. Tell us about the days and hours you are looking for to see if we can make it work.
About headspace Horsham
headspace Horsham provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25 across the Wimmera with an awareness of the importance of providing a positive experience in what may be their first connection with a mental health service.

Your skills and experience
You are a values-led, supportive leader committed to developing a positive team culture and promoting the well-being of young people, their families and the community.
You have a proven track record as a manager who delivers an excellent client experience, balancing effective growth planning for client needs with workforce availability in a complex funding environment.
To set you up for success, we ask that you:
* You are a registered psychologist or a social worker eligible for registration to AASW.
* Have management experience in youth mental health or youth services administration.
* Are confident and experienced in providing professional supervision and secondary consultation with the sector.
