Role Overview
Join ETL Systems as a Production Technologist in our Mechanical Assembly team and play a vital role in manufacturing cutting-edge RF equipment. You'll assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical components to ensure top-notch quality and efficiency. This hands-on role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating assembly equipment, and using various tools to fabricate, join, and secure parts. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Hours: 37.5 per week
Overtime: During peak times, overtime is available for those seeking extra hours. Overtime pay is compensated at one and a half times the regular rate.
Location: This position is located at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Key Accountabilities
Perform mechanical assembly of RF equipment components with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Conducted quality inspections to ensure all assembled products met industry standards and company requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to maintain production flow.
Maintain and update production documentation and records.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Our ideal candidate
As a Senior Production Technologist, your expertise in component-level assembly will make a significant impact. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in mechanical assembly within the electronics and electrical equipment manufacturing sectors and a strong understanding of RF equipment and its components.
In this role, you will read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics, tackle intricate problems, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. We value strong communication and teamwork abilities and the capability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
A relevant technical certification or diploma is highly desirable.
Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:
Good understanding of RF equipment and its components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Relevant technical certification or diploma is preferred.
Essential: Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the electronics/electrical equipment manufacturing industry.
