We have a superb opportunity for a Bartender who will primarily be based in the Castle and from time to time at various locations throughout the estate. Each day is varied, with the opportunity to get creative, displaying your bartending skills by creating and serving an array of classic, signature, and bespoke cocktails, all done with precision and artistry.

As bartender you will have access to the finest ingredients and an opportunity to grow your skills and craft while working in a setting that epitomises elegance. Playing a significant role in delivering the DLC culture, be a part of world-class hospitality in an inspiring and vibrant environment.
Our food and beverage team provide hospitality to those visiting and using the castle facilities. Whether they are visiting for a day and have lunch or drinks or staying overnight for a few days with us in one of the suites, having morning coffee and breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening dinner and drinks. You collaborate with colleagues throughout the club in creating memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home’ making sure each visit is unique.
The Castle offers our guests a choice of food outlets, from our Tavern style bar on the ground floor, fine dining in the Baron’s Hall, champagne and caviar room, whisky bar, and the Chinese Drawing room. Offering drinks and snacks, lunch or afternoon tea or an afternoon cocktail; or a night cap ‘whisky’ and wishing them a good night’s rest. You take huge pride in ensuring the bar beverage stock is maintained, the glasses are clean, polished, and ready, drinks and ice are stocked. Whatever the occasion we’ll give you the opportunity to get creative and will back your ideas.
Stocking a rare collection of some of the most expensive whisky in the world this role would suit a whisky connoisseur with an in-depth knowledge and love of this product. We are laid-back-luxury at its finest, it’s about striking a balance between luxury surroundings and a non-formal approach to service. Whether our members and their guests are starting the evening with pre-dinner drinks or celebrating with a bottle from our fine collection of champagnes or choosing from an expertly crafted cocktail menu we are the people who like to do things differently that makes for a truly unforgettable experience and redefines what service can be.

Ideally you will have previous Bartending experience whether it be in 4- or 5-star Hotel or in an award-winning whisky or cocktail bar. To be successful you will have attention to detail to be able to deliver a luxury experience with a warm, casual style letting your genuine personality shine through. You will get to know and build relationships with the members; their families and friends as you welcome them time and time again. You exude a positive attitude taking pride in a job well done, celebrating success and enjoy being part of a team. Warm and friendly you have a genuine interest in people with a willing ‘can do’ approach and open to seeking advice and support when needed.
