We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Property and Place Team as a Property Management Lead. Your role You will provide strategic leadership and day to day management of the Property Management Portfolio and to include the management and/or mentorship of a Graduate Surveyors training within this team. You will be responsible for the management of a selection of the Asset Investment portfolio in relation to valuations, landlord and tenant relationships, inspections, service charge budgeting and rent/debt monitoring. You will be responsible for delivering reports to the Estates Manager, Senior Leaders and members on the performance of the portfolios. What you will need: You will have extensive recent experience in the professional property environment and experience of operating in a local authority environment either at County, District or Unitary level. You will have relevant previous post qualification experience at a senior level, minimum 5 years and have experience of lease and tenancy negotiations, rent collection and service charge budget setting. You will have line management experience and experience of dealing with senior personnel and council members.
