We are seeking atalented, dedicated, and highly analytical Instock Manager to driveselection and in-stock for Amazon UK Fresh programs. This is aunique opportunity to play a key role on an important initiative atAmazon. This position requires a candidate with proven analyticalskills with experience driving process improvement, thoughtleadership, and delivering results.
TheInstock Manager will be responsible for executing inventorystrategies to optimize customer experience, sales, margin andturns. They will be relentlessly focused on delivering highin-stock rates in order to meet the needs of our customers. Theywill dive deep core drivers of in-stock performance, andproactively identify opportunities to improve tools and work flows.This role interacts closely with retail and operations businesspartners across Amazon, and is pivotal to the growth of thisstrategic initiative.
The successfulcandidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels,while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and externalcustomers. Key jobresponsibilities
- Maintain excellent in-stock rates forowned category and/or region
- Execute inventorystrategies to optimize sales, turns, and inventory health
- Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicatorssuch as in-stock rate, procurement lead time (PLT), fill rate,forecast accuracy and turns
- Forecast and manageefficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health,including forecasting, purchasing, and removing unproductiveinventory
- Drive root cause analysis/reporting onoperational issues, develop action plans and project manageimprovements with the ability to manage multiple, competingpriorities simultaneously
- Work with internal teamscollaboratively, to help drive tools and process improvements thataffect purchasing and procurement workflows, with emphasis onautomating tasks that are currently performedmanually.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor Degree
- Experience in Supply Chain, Planning,or Inventory Management or equivalent experience such asConsulting, Finance, or Operations
- Advanced analyticalskills, with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understandroot cause and identify scalablesolutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or a SupplyChain/Operations discipline
- Excellent businessjudgement, strong written and oral communication skills, and apractical, common sense approach to getting things done
-High degree of organisation and ability to manage multiplepriorities and committed to getting things done
-Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at alllevels
- Great attention to detail and willingness toroll up your sleeves
- Strong data extraction, analyticaland problem - Advanced SQL and Excel skills, familiarity withstatistics or other analytical techniques
