Role:
- Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 16:00)
- Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (£20,941.63 - £22,834.95 actual salary), depending on experience and qualifications
- Contract: Temp to Permanent
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, term-time only
- Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Build strong, nurturing relationships with students, helping them feel secure and supported in their learning environment.
- Promote Independence: Encourage personal development and independence in students, maintaining high expectations for behaviour.
- Educational Activities: Assist in delivering high-quality, engaging, and differentiated learning experiences to help students achieve their full potential.
- Classroom Support: Collaborate with the class teacher in daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Adaptability: Be flexible in responding to the school's dynamic needs and various tasks.
- Holistic Development: Support the cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, and physical growth of students, contributing to their overall well-being.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: A good understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
- SEN Experience: Previous experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable.
- Transportation: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to commute to Royston, Hertfordshire.
- Compliance: Must have full-time right to work in the UK.
