Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joinery Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate various machinery and tools. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision components and ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Duties
* Operate saw machines, moulders, spindle moulders and other machining tools to fabricate parts according to specifications.
* Read and interpret cutting lists to determine machining processes.
* Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations.
* Assemble parts using power tools and hand tools if necessary.
* Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
* Packing components for delivery
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge.
* Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
