We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly pharmacy team. You will work within the core areas of medicine, surgery and dispensary. Our technician led dispensary is supported by robotics. Here, your focus will be on the professional and clinical role of the pharmacist and taking on aspects of leadership and management. As you progress with your training, there will be opportunities to expand your role and undertake specialist placements in aseptic, medicines information and clinical specialities, such as; critical care, cardiology, renal, oncology/haematology, care of the elderly and paediatrics. You will be supported to complete the NES post registration foundation programme. This will equip you with the skills required of a modern pharmacist, including those required to prescribe independently. Our team are highly motivated to provide good quality education and training and you will be guided by an experienced educational supervisor. A dedicated E&T pharmacist, linked with the Highlands and Islands pharmacy education and research team, will ensure training is up to date and of the highest standard. Peer support will be available locally and nationally. Once accredited, the ever-evolving and developing nature of the service means there will be opportunities for career progression. Your training needs will continue to be supported as you progress onto the RPS advanced framework and other post-graduate training, relevant to your role.
