Primary Teacher - Specialist Provision Location: Alsager, Cheshire Salary: £120 - £145 per day Start Date: April and September 2025 available Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract About the School: Ofsted-rated 'Good' specialist school Focus on individual needs, interests, and learning styles Offers child-centred learning, including GCSEs, BTECs, and vocational studies 70 students with a trauma-informed, inclusive environment Emphasis on holistic development, social-emotional growth, and confidence About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary-aged children with special educational needs (SEND). You will be providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive, adapt their learning styles, and make progress in a variety of subjects. You will also work closely with the team to develop strategies to support students' individual needs and ensure they are included in all aspects of school life. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver a creative and engaging curriculum for primary students with SEND Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students Support students in building essential social, emotional, and academic skills Foster an inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported Collaborate with colleagues to provide personalised learning and targeted interventions Encourage the development of independence and self-confidence in students Key Requirements: PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) A strong understanding of primary education and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of SEND students Excellent communication, behaviour management, and adaptability skills Passionate about working with children and helping them reach their full potential Previous experience working with primary-aged children or SEND is desirable but not essential Why Join Simply Education?
