Job Purpose
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Business Tax team in Manchester, which is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients.

This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients. You will be dealing with all matters relating to managing a portfolio of clients.
A key part of the role requires the individual to actively seek, and keep the Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising at existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Relationship and key stakeholder management with ability to manage a portfolio of complex cases from both an advisory and compliance perspective.
* Management and development of staff with the ability to mentor junior staff and provide performance appraisals.
* Compliance work including ensuring procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant.
Qualifications
* Substantial corporate tax experience gained within the professional services sector.
* Demonstrable experience in providing tax advice to clients on complex tax matters.
* Ability to manage and coach others.
* Interest in growing business development skills.
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
