Registered Nurse (Nights + Days) - Tanglewood - Horncastle

Currently, we are looking for a Registered Nurse on our night shift to achieve the highest possible standard of care through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff members, taking management responsibility for a shift as directed.
The position of Registered Nurse includes the following responsibilities:
1. Administer prescribed medicines and document in accordance with the company’s procedures and NMC guidelines.
2. Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Registered Manager.
3. Assess social and health care needs of new residents, and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all residents.
4. Report any ill health amongst clients and request GP/Professional visits where necessary.
5. Ensure that clients’ care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives, and other Health Care Professionals.
6. Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work, providing help and guidance where appropriate.
7. Build and maintain long-standing relationships with residents with a variety of needs.
8. Understand residents' likes/dislikes and needs throughout the day.
Requirements to be a Registered Nurse at Tanglewood:
1. Registered Nurse, registered with the NMC.
2. Previous supervisory experience (support will be given to newly qualified staff).
