We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inhouse Recruitment Consultant responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the Plant is adequately resourced with talented individuals who align with the organisation’s requirements, goals, and values. Assist with facilitating the onboarding process ensuring that new hires seamlessly integrate into their roles in line with company culture.
Responsibilities
1. Sourcing and Attraction: Utilise various sourcing techniques such as job boards, social media, referrals and industry networks to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for positions ranging from production roles to technical specialists.
2. Candidate Screening and Selection: Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications against departmental skill matrices and role requirements. Collaborate with departmental management to identify top talent and facilitate the selection process through interviews, assessments and reference checks. Responsible for coordination and organisation of open days and recruitment events.
3. Onboarding Support: Co-ordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into their role. Provide necessary information, resources and support to assist new employees in integrating into their department.
4. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads and external recruitment partners to understand hiring needs, priorities and challenges. Act as a trusted advisor providing insights and recommendations to optimise recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and any regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interview outcomes and recruitment metrics to support reporting and analysis.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices and innovative recruitment techniques to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of recruitment processes. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Excellent inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills.
2. High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
3. Proven IT skills (Office 365, including Excel).
4. Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in psychometric testing for recruitment purposes.
6. Proficiency in recruitment software tools.
7. Proven experience of a similar Recruiter role preferable within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
8. Proven experience of high-volume recruitment across multiple disciplines.
9. Experience of engaging, vetting and management of recruitment agencies (where required).
