Brain Injury Support Worker (Maternity Cover Starting in January 2025)
This is an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Brain Injury Support Worker to join the Libertatem Healthcare Group team in Coventry, West Midlands. The role involves assisting a client in his forties with appointments, personal care, and emotional support. The successful candidate will need to hold a full UK Driving License due to the responsibilities involved.
Main Duties of the Job
The Brain Injury Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with the client's personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records of care. They will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client.
Job Responsibilities
We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands starting in January 2025. Please note this role is a maternity cover.
Our client is in his forties and we are looking for a support worker to assist him with appointments as well as supporting with the care that is required. Our client has physical limitations as well as memory processing and confidence issues.
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalized routines.
* Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
* Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client, and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
