1. Provide tailored support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual learning needs.
2. Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for personalized learning experiences.
3. Support classroom management and help maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
4. Establish effective communication channels with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
5. Prepare and adapt teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Essential Requirements:
6. Have Qualified Teaching Status
7. Proficient skills in supporting SEN needs
8. Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
9. Strong behaviour management skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
11. Caring and empathetic personality.
12. Commitment to safeguarding children.
13. A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
