Be responsible for the development of our education offering including, planning and quality assurance, utilising our experienced clinical faculty and senior clinical team for specialist input and advice. This includes the identification of opportunities for both accredited and non-accredited courses, ensuring ECS can meet the requirements of any external regulatory bodies. Oversee day-to-day education administration and delivery across both the commercial and internal arms of the business Provide line management to the education and training coordinator, ensuring clear objectives and regular reviews to support their growth and development. Oversee the coordination and allocation of teaching faculty for courses. Develop our education faculty and drive the recruitment of additional expertise where required to support high quality course delivery. Progress new centre accreditation applications, focussing on growing education delivery relevant to our team and external requirements. Work closely with our Ambulance Operations and Event Operations team to coordinate and develop relevant education opportunities to continue to develop our clinical workforce. Ensure the upkeep of centre accreditations and compliance with relevant awarding body requirements. Oversee the quality assurance of the training that we deliver. Quality and Governance Support maintaining compliance with regulatory standards across ECS, striving for excellence in all aspects of the business. Advise and assure the Chief Operating Officer on matters relating to education standards and delivery. To utilise systems throughout the organisation to provide safe and reliable education for our customers and the best experience for our people. Contribute to the review and development of policy and procedures. Participate in service development activity. Health, Safety, and Risk Management Maintain good corporate governance arrangements including health and safety and risk management. Contribute to the reduction of risk to patients, staff, and the organisation from operational activities through risk management, complaint resolution, and incident investigation, ensuring that the organisation learns lessons from experience. Support the health and safety of the ECS workforce and ensure policies and procedures are followed to maintain the safety of customers and clients during education activity. Contract, Relationship, and Financial Management Develop new business and relationships, ensuring the ECS brand continues to be known for high quality delivery. Monitor contract compliance against predetermined key performance or quality indicators. Report internally and externally on contract performance and compliance as required. Maintain effective and active relationships with key customers, acting as a key customer contact point. Be responsible for the Education and Training budget, ensuring objectives and key performance indicators are met and providing timely reports to the Chief Operating Officer as outlined within the Board Assurance Framework. Work closely with the ECS Business and Finance team to monitor the forecasting and budget positions, providing clear information where required.
