Job Title: MOS Operative
As a MOS Operative, your responsibilities will include working on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your primary duties involve manual control of traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective monitoring of site conditions. You may also assist qualified operatives to ensure projects run efficiently while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role.
This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a physical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand safe working practices and procedures.
2. Learn to conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements related to traffic management.
3. Carry out activities according to established procedures, and identify areas for improvement, reporting them to your line manager.
4. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and tidiness.
5. Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
6. Assist the public by directing them safely through site lines when required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
* Training will be provided in relevant areas.
* Must possess a valid UK Driving License.
