This job is for you You may be unaware counsellors and psychologists play a massive part of the educational system, for many of the SEN students have regular visits and sessions. This enables them to cope with any learning difficulities or mental illness for a happier and healthier education. This is a SEMH Teaching Assistant - Abingdon role that will put you into challenging, sometimes Anti-Social contexts that will build your foundations of experience. With this LSA role starting after, de-escalation and the language around it is incredibly important You can get an indepth insight of the KS1/KS2 education, to identify the areas of concern for each 1:1 child and build up your child-related experience portfolio. January start date Location: OX13 Pay: £417.50 - £450 per week (for a full 5 day working week) Full time 8:30am to 3:15pm. SEMH Teaching Assistant Requirements: Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm. Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary. Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare OR has proven 3 year experience in an EYFS or KS1/KS2 setting.
