RG Consultancy are working with a growing business who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team based in their offices in Burnley.
Reporting to and acting as general support for the Financial Controller, this Accounts Assistant role would be responsible for working on the sales & purchase ledgers and general day-to-day finance admin.
Duties include:
* Purchase ledger - matching invoices to delivery notes and gaining approval before processing onto the system
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Resolving any invoice discrepancies
* Analysis of weekly fuel invoice
* Sales ledger - creating and sending invoices
* Monitoring of accounts inbox
This Accounts Assistant role would be ideal for someone with experience working in an accounts office and is confident with working independently. There will also be scope to pick up on extra responsibilities as the role develops.
