Performance, Reporting & Revenue Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Severn Trent Team as a Performance, Reporting & Revenue Manager.
This role will be responsible for all NHH (non-household) revenue billing and recovery, circa £480m annually. The accuracy of the monthly settlements report is key to an exceptional retailer and customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that any revenue variations are fully understood and that any data inaccuracies are prioritised with the appropriate data owner. The exciting part of this role is that you will be responsible for multiple business areas, Trade Effluent – liquid waste from business and industrial processes needs to be monitored and billed accurately. New Appointments and Variations (NAV’s) are a growing market that need more in-depth analysis as the market grows. This is in addition to our bulk billing processes.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Your key accountabilities in helping us on our journey will be:
* Ownership of our NHH revenue of c£480m per year, providing variances to budget on a monthly basis
* Ensure that adequate revenue assurance processes are in place allowing identification of data inaccuracies that are creating gaps in our revenue and drive the recovery of this
* Accountability for required revenue accruals based on settlements analysis, working closely with the Revenue Business Partnering team
* Preparing monthly reporting on revenue and assurance activities which is reported to the Executive Team
* To work collaboratively with all key stakeholders, bringing continual improvement that will deliver benefit for our customer, our employees and our shareholders
* Manage a team of settlement analysts to extract, update and maintain market settlement data from the Central Market Operating System (CMOS)
* Liaise with the appropriate data owner to prioritise corrections including Market Regulators, Retailers within the market, and internal STW teams
* Close working relationship with the wider business trade effluent teams, forecasting revenue and improving billing accuracy
* Understanding the growing NAV market and the future impact on revenue
* Making sure that all bulk billing agreements between us and other wholesalers are accurately recorded and charged.
* Understand future charging rules and impact on customers
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Someone with strong people leadership experience with demonstrable ability to engage a team to lead and manage their own projects. Experience in managing performance against budget and reporting to senior management. Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management ability, with a proven track record of successfully managing both internal and external stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
