The Global Supply Chain Planner will support the Head of Supply Planning with sales and operations planning and execution cycles using supply chain analytics, reporting, and Power BI. This role involves developing relationships with Demand Planning, Finance, and Inventory Control for enhanced reporting capability.
Main Responsibilities
* Support delivery of the Planning and Execution cycle by collating, verifying, and presenting supply data to ensure accuracy across all production sites.
* Evaluate supply vs. demand data with the Global Demand Analyst to provide necessary information for S&OP and S&OE forums in a standardised format, driving business decisions.
* Collaborate with the Volume Planner to analyse supply planning inputs and outputs for the S&OP cycle, ensuring seamless planning processes.
* Review global supply data across different datasets and suggest areas for action to deliver improvements in efficiency and productivity.
* Cross-functional collaboration is key; coordinate and consolidate global supply data across production sites, working closely with Allocations Analyst to manage outputs from the monthly allocations forum.
* Compile data to formulate and recommend the Campaign Plan, supporting business objectives.
* Support the Product Lifecycle Management team with supply data and other lifecycle activities.
* Maintain the management of changes within ERP for the Planning Team to ensure accuracy and reliability across all production sites.
* Contribute to team performance by engaging in team meetings and problem-solving activities.
* Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and support Supply Planning objectives.
Ideal Candidate
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain within an FMCG environment.
* Proficiency in MS Excel skills and experience.
* Advanced analytical and investigative skills with the ability to present data in a structured format.
