Location: Leicester with hybrid working Salary: £27,000-£30,000pa We are looking for someone to join our 1st Line Risk on a 12 month fixed term contract. You would support with identifying the risks posed by our customers at onboarding and throughout the lifecycle. You would be responsible for accurate completion of Client Due Diligence checks (Low, Medium & High Risk) on new and existing customers, as well as day to day transaction monitoring activities. The ideal candidate would also undertake client reviews and ensure the Bank’s policies, lending and deposits protocols are followed. If you have knowledge of UK banking regulation and handbooks, with specialisms in financial crime regulation and legislation, we would love to hear from you About you For this role you will also need the following skills and experience: Previous experience in an AML / KYC financial crime assessment role within financial services Knowledge of UK banking regulation and handbooks, with specialisms in financial crime regulation and legislation. Good understanding of the “Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations” (2017) and Criminal Finances Act (2017). Experience of completing Standard and Enhanced Due Diligence process and familiarity with complex business structures and multi-jurisdictional customers. Experience of working with PEP & Sanctions requirements and raising PEP and sanctions issues as appropriate. Knowledge of source of funds and source of wealth requirements within financial services and be able to use this experience of applying regulatory knowledge to real time customer scenarios. Understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly relevant to Asset Finance/Real Estate lending and Deposits is desirable.
