Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts. Our generous benefits package includes 30-35 days holiday (pro rata), 10% in-store discount, enhanced family leave, pension scheme, and long service awards.
Job Description
As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you will help maintain our high standards day after day. You will motivate your team, swiftly solve problems, and delegate tasks to create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you. You will also manage operations within your store and handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts. Your primary goal will be to provide the best possible experience for our customers every time they visit your store.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need experience leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team, patience and a friendly manner, and passion to thrive as a key part of the store team.
