Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a paper packaging manufacturer, in their search for a Purchasing Coordinator to work from their site in Wrexham.
For the successful Purchasing Coordinator our client is offering:
* Up to £28,000 per annum
* Monday - Friday, Days role, 09:00 - 17:30
* Permanent contract
* Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking, company pension
The role - Purchasing Coordinator:
* Create and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and clear, and send them to suppliers for confirmation.
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability, negotiate pricing, and establish production and delivery timelines.
* Monitor production schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure that deliveries are made on time and in full.
* Maintain regular communication with suppliers to resolve any delays or issues, and escalate any concerns as necessary.
* Monitor the status of payments.
* Keep accurate records of all purchasing activities, supplier communications, and financial transactions to ensure compliance and transparency.
* Ensure that all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and procedures.
What our client is looking for in a Purchasing Coordinator:
* Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination - ESSENTIAL
* Strong communication skills to maintain positive supplier relationships - ESSENTIAL
* Previous experience with Procurement/ERP Systems such as SAP - ESSENTIAL
* Knowledge of paper packaging manufacturing requirements.
* Must hold a UK Driving License.
