Job Description
1. Create new customer accounts
2. Monitor the Group email inbox
3. Daily cash posting and allocation of client accounts
4. Proactively chase overdue debt and manage payment reminders in line with the company's policy.
5. Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers
6. Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate repayment plans
7. Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards
8. Ensure compliance with the company's credit control procedures
9. Handle questions and complaints about billing from customers
10. Assist with the preparation of management reports and year-end audit
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Control should have:
1. Proven experience in a credit control position is essential.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
3. Excellent administration and customer service skills.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
5. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Good understanding of the FMCG industry
