Glendale Plastics, a plastics processor based in Glenrothes, is looking to appoint an Administration Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment in a similar role.
The Administration Assistant will be involved in the administration duties required to maintain an effective operating system.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday between 8am and 1pm.
Job Brief:
1. Based within an office environment, undertake reception duties which will include answering and directing incoming calls to relevant members of staff and ensuring visitors are greeted promptly on arrival.
2. Prepare and issue production kit paperwork.
3. Check information on completed production paperwork and report discrepancies.
4. Perform data entry and maintain accurate databases and spreadsheets.
5. Maintain organised filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
6. Assist Office Manager or Production Controller, as and when required.
Key Attributes:
1. Experience of using Microsoft Office software is essential.
2. Experience of using a Business Planning System (e.g. MRP, ERP) is desirable.
3. Ability to work with accuracy under pressure and to tight deadlines.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Be able to demonstrate a flexible, accommodating and helpful approach.
Salary: Circa £26,500, based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year.
