Behaviour Mentor Secondary School Full-time Barnet Start date: June 2025 Contract: 6 monthsA high-achieving secondary girls school in Barnet are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their school in June on a full-time basis to support students across the school with SEMH needs. The Role: As a Behaviour Mentor you will be directly involved in improving the academic standard of students who require additional support to access learning within a school environment. The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs that may be Social Emotion Mental Health needs. - Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs. - Developing and implementing strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviour. - Supporting students in their academic, social, and personal development. - Helping students get ready to take up and coming exams - Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. - Monitoring and assessing students' progress and adjusting support plans as needed. Requirements: - Experience working with secondary age pupils ideally within mainstream or special school. - Graduate background or Tuition background - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. - Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude. - A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
