Our client is a well-established practice in the stunning seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. This RCVS accredited purpose-built practice is well-equipped with great facilities including dental radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, ECG and much more. The practice recently had an extension in 2020.


You will be joining a wonderful team comprising of 3 Vets who have a wealth of knowledge in small, large and equine. They are also a nurse training practice and have a friendly team of nurses, students and receptionists.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to gain experience and exposure to a variety of cases with the added benefit of senior support.



The Rota:

1. Full time - 4 day week
2. 1 night per week on-call (with on-call nurse)
3. 1:4 weekends on-call (with on-call nurse)



The Benefits:

1. Salary from £36,000 - £60,000 DOE
2. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
3. Paid birthday leave
4. Accrue 1 day of holiday per year for every year (up to 5 years)
5. RCVS, BSAVA, BVA and VDS fees paid
6. One other membership paid
7. CPD is unlimited (within reason to benefit both the Vet and the practice)
