Reporting to: Senior Operation Manager
Contract: Full time
Salary: £26k - £28K
Location: Hybrid – Scotland/ Edinburgh & home working,
Closing date: 5pm Friday 14th February 2025
Purpose of Post: To organise and deliver up to two annual conferences and regional conferences/events as appropriate. To support with Scottish Party fundraising events and the wider team with arranging training events for members. During elections you will be part of the election team supporting with a range of tasks as required.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
GENERAL
To work with staff and stakeholders to ensure that the offer to members of training and engagement through workshops and participation at conferences is effectively communicated.
CONFERENCE
Work on the delivery of two conferences for members per annum. This includes working with the Conference Committee to understand deadlines to support communication with members.
Drive commercial engagement and attendance at conference.
Work with staff and stakeholders to assist with the delivery of regional events and conferences.
Work with staff and stakeholders to assist with the delivery of policy roadshows etc across Scotland.
ELECTIONS
During election periods, assist the Party in any way reasonably requested. To assist with events and training and support for members as appropriate.
TRAINING
Work with staff and stakeholders to coordinate, communicate, and support the delivery of a comprehensive training program for members online and in person across Scotland in line with the 150 Rising Strategy and support the delivery of the annual Future Leaders Programme.
Any other duties – undertake any other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager.
